In the third quarter of 2024, the top music and podcasts applications on Android in Algeria showed varied performance trends, according to data from Sensor Tower.

Spotify: Music and Podcasts, published by Spotify AB from Sweden, experienced a dynamic quarter. Weekly revenue showed fluctuations, peaking at approximately $49 in late July, and closing the quarter at around $43. Downloads saw an upward trend, reaching a high of about 19.9K at the end of September. The app maintained a strong base of weekly active users, increasing from roughly 256.7K at the start of July to 276.8K by the end of September.

Deezer: Music & Podcast Player by Deezer Music from France recorded modest weekly revenue, with notable peaks in mid-July and late August, at $45 and $31 respectively. Downloads remained relatively stable, fluctuating between 300 to 500 per week, while weekly active users saw a gradual decline from around 10.7K to 6.5K over the quarter.

Anghami: Play music & Podcasts from Lebanon's Anghami Technologies showed a steady download trend, with numbers peaking at nearly 3.9K in late September. Revenue was minimal, with small peaks throughout the quarter. Weekly active users decreased over the period, from approximately 283.7K to 245K.
